Description
Candelilla Mountainbike Tour Gran Canaria
This mountain bike tour brings it straight to the point! You will take off at 1.250 Meters altitude at the Risco la Candelilla, a towering rock nearby Ayacata one of the most isolated areas of the island. A long, gravelly and washed out downhill trail demands your driving skills and full concentration. The further route takes you through moon-like desert landscapes, bizarre rock formations along beautiful vegetation and idyllic mountain villages. The route is challenging and varied. Right at the first, partly very steep ascent, you will start to sweat for sure. Past the Chira Reservoir, you will take a rest after another ascent. Well recovered, it goes into a long and varied gravel road. A narrow, winding road with breathtaking views down to the valley Barranco de Soria If you have a good basic condition and enjoy the adrenaline rush of a challenge, this is absolutely the right tour for you.
