We really enjoyed the trip

We enjoyed the trip very much. The guide was very involved. The drivers of the minibuses, however, were driving irresponsibly, especially on our return. Therefore, I only award 4 stars.
Sascha Diehl –
The trip was fantastic!
We had a great day at Loro Park. The organization from the beginning of the pick up to the drive back home was well organized – also thanks to Peter, our tour guide.
The itinerary:
We were picked up at 5 o’clock at the meeting point directly next to our hotel.
Then we went by bus the port of Las Palmas. At 7 o’clock we took a brand new and really nice ferry to Tenerife (about 2 hours).
And then travelled to the Loro Park by bus, on our way we got some information about the area (German and English).
You get time until 17 o’clock and the ferry return is at 19 o’clock.
So everything was well organized and a big compliment to Peter 🙂
Daniel –
Everything was organized great.

It was excellent. Although the day is very long and very exhausting travelling by bus, then by ferry then bus back etc but it pays off.
The guide is very nice. The only disadvantage is, that he has to repeat everything three times because of translating. In the bus you understand very little because he speaks fast and his German is not so well. I therefore just listened to the English.
Thanks again for the great offer and for the possibility to visit the Loro Parque.

We had a really well organized tour. Even if we had decided to do the trip at short notice, the necessary information was sent to us timely and in a professional manner. Quick and easy.
Our tour guide was very outgoing and extremely friendly with the participants and spoke al least 3 languages (Spanish, English, German). He also gave some interesting information about the area and the attractions.
The planning and preparation as well as the attention on site were very good.
Conor –
We had a fantastic time thank you.
Janina –
The tour was wonderful.

The trip was great and deserves top marks. There was nothing to complain about. Thank you so much that I was able to join on such short notice.

Thank you for a successful and unforgettable trip! We had a wonderful time at the Loro Parque, which unfortunately went much too fast. The trip from the starting point Gran Canaria to Tenerife is relatively long but worthwhile. We went as a family with two toddlers (2 and 5 years). The kids loved it and the tour is absolutely feasible with travel buggy. The operator also indicates that the trip takes about 16 hours. The ferry crossing in the morning was not very pleasant, as two of us, including my son got seasick. Please if possible consider the recommendation of the operator and pack tablets for nausea as a precaution. The crew aboard the ferry responded very professionally and was always present to help. The crossing with the ferry and the surrounding scenery are unique and it left some positive memories. We can only recommend this excursion! PS: and also the guide is really OK 🙂

It was a long day but well worth it. I would definitely recommend this tour .
Matthias –
Unfortunately extreme waiting times of about 2 hours at the ferry without any information. Adapted departure times would be useful.
The tour guide spoke and understood hardly German or English. Anyone who did not understand Spanish virtually got no information.

Answer by CANCO Gran Canaria to Matthias’ review from 03.04.19
Dear Matthias,
Thank you for taking the time to evaluate your excursion. We regret the incidents described and have consulted them with the operator.
The reason for the delay of your ferry was an intervention of the Coast Guard, as refugees from Africa wanted to access Spain illegally by sea. The incident temporarily paralyzed the marine traffic, resulting in delays throughout the whole day.
The long waiting times are annoying, especially since the trip itself already tiring due to its long duration. The ferry company’s invitation to free coffee and snack on your return is not standard service. This was meant as a small compensation for the caused inconvenience.
Your tour guide was British nationality and also speaks German. At the port the official language is Spanish, also the ferry company is Spanish, so communication in Spanish was necessary. The fact that you have not been informed adequately about the cause and the course of the situation is, of course, annoying.
The operator will gladly use your comment as an opportunity to improve the processes in the event of delays.
Yours sincerely
Tammy –
Greatly organized tour. Huge Number of guests and still not crowded. Lots of things to see and great animal performances.
Tina –
Have visited seaworld and other large attractions worldwide so was not expecting too much but just love to see whales and dolphins so took opportunity to go to Loro. We were there for 6/7 hours and saw everything in comfort, so money well spent, unlike the large expensive parks in US where we were shattered and missed out some attractions.
Mary –
My friend and I visited Loro Parque inTenerife last week. Long tour but well worth visiting. It is beautifully laid out / landscaped. There are many different areas to visit. The dolphin and whale shows were amazing.
Brian –
Transfers and all on time, park is very clean and the shows are organized along with the park layout. Managed to get to see the dolphins, seals and orca shows. Well worth the money. Deffo well worth the visit, the kids loved it.
Ken –
Lots of variety and really well organized tour. A really lovely day spent here. The orca, dolphin and loro shows are definitely worth seeing also.
Blaz –
The tour is definitely worth the money. Great park for people of all ages. I had a great time. The shows and the animals are spectacular.
Hayley –
Thought that the price was rather expensive, but after visiting had to concede that it is worth the price: guide, transfer, ferry and entrance to park included. We were amazed by the park and gardens and really enjoyed the live shows.
Mike –
Had very good day with the wife. Tour guide was excellent. The 3 shows were good. Penquins was my favourite. Plenty to see and do. Worth a visit.
Gianni –
Good tour organization. Wonderful park so well kept and lots of things to see it so many animals and species and the shows… sea lions, orcas wow…
Joe –
Well worth the visit! A superb zoo with an array of wonderful animals to see. The sea lion, dolphin and killer whale shows were all brilliant – well worth visiting just to see those alone. After spending the full day there, our only regret is that we couldn’t have stayed longer!
Astrid –
Beautiful animal park and quality shows.
Lisa –
As a couple we felt that it was too long day. We saw the whale show which was really fun and entertaining as well as dolphin. I think it would have been better with kids. Going again with the family next year as overall it was a fun day out.
Peter –
The booking went smoothly. We were picked up punctually at the meeting point. First we went to pick up other participants and then we went to the harbor. We had about 7 hours in the park. Good value for money.
Bruce –
A great day out well worth the long journey.
Alvin –
Price seems expensive at first, but we felt it was well worth it considering you travel to another island. Lots to see at the park, animals, shows and plants. We took our own food to keep the cost down, but bought drinks. All in all a really great day out.
Christian Barmscheidt –
Exhausting but you are being rewarded by the Loro Parque ????
Ralf –
It was a nice but very exhausting day. First minute, that means Peter put a lot of effort to make everything run smoothly 🙂 The dinner on the ferry however was an absolute disaster because it was cold and stale. Some of the staff on the ferry also were very unfriendly. But the Loro Park was worth it. And as always, unfortunately a day has only a 24 hrs.
Marie –
The trip to the park was wonderful and absolutely worth it. I was less satisfied with our guide. We had to wait almost two hours for him, and he seemed to be very inexperienced in dealing with the ticketing for the ferry crossing. Even though he was friendly, he was too unorganized. The contact to CANCO istead went smooth and friendly. They were available at all times! Fab!
Prasse –
The pick up by bus, the transfer by ferry and the visit in the Loro park were great. Unfortunately some of the staff on the ferry were rude, the dinner cold and stale … This is the only thing I can complain about. Nevertheless, it was a nice day …
Andy –
The Loro Parque is probably one of the most beautiful parks on our planet. Everything was very cared about and clean. Equipped with an incredible diversity of animals.
Rolf –
Great day for the whole family. Great Park worth the money. Good Shows, good facilities. We’d like to go again.
Sabrina –
Loro Park – simply amazing for big and small!
Tim –
We went with our 4 year old son the journey to the park was a bit of a hasslel, but the park absolutely compensated us. Especially the Orca and parrot show is highly recommendable!
