There is not much comfort when driving, over hill and dale and along mounts and slopes. It gets correspondingly bumpy and quite dusty at times. You drive through harsh but also lush volcanic landscapes and experience why the island is called a miniature continent. There are many interesting things to discover along the way. Your lively tour guide will tell you a lot about the history of the island at the various stops. On this tour will learn a lot of worth knowing facts about the indigenous people, the volcanic origin and the flora and fauna. Photography enthusiats will be extremely busy on this Jeep Tour to document the many diverse impressions of Gran Canaria.

We had a great day out and thoroughly enjoyed all of it – I would recommend it to anyone. Our drivers were very good and our tour guide very good fun, in a mad sort of way!

Being driven through this beautiful landscape by jeep is really nice. Don’t forget to bring a cloth for dust protection as advised, you will need it on some tracks.
Our driver was very nice and you could speak a little English with him. Unfortunately, there was only one German speaking guide (for 8 Jeeps) so that you only get brief information about where you are, the beautiful and special things in the area and what you are seeing during the 4 or 5 breaks.
The lunch was ok and the service was very friendly.
It is a shame to cross such a landscape almost in silence.

A nice drive through Maspalomas through the villages, a little history and sights. With funny stories from the driver. A camel ride where you can make new friends. Visit an aloe vera field to learn more about its amazing properties. With a bumpy “off road” moment at the end.
Donald –
The tour is well worth the money if you want to see a side of the island that you would not normally see. Stop points are good and interesting, there is something for everyone.

First we went to the lake, then to lunch, then camels, then aloe vera field and then offroad. There was only about twenty minutes left for each location. The stops were great just a pity we did not have more time to enjoy them.
Jack –
8 jeeps go on tour, a bandana is recommended, it gets very dusty during the “off road” parts. View was great, the staff really great. Photo shoot and camel riding possible during the stopovers, the visit to the Aloe Vera Farm was very interesting, but the products seemed expensive. The dinner was nothing special.

We didn’t really know what to expect as we wound our way into the interior of the island. As we approached the highest points of the island (or so it felt) we turned off road to our first stop at the Camel Safari! After an amusing camel train ride, we took to the tracks again winding our way higher. On this climb and the subsequent descent into Puerto Rico I developed a newfound respect for old Land Rovers! A fine British export! Our driver was a star – brilliant with the kids. All in all a fabulous few hours. Recommended you wear clothes you don’t mind getting ingrained with fine dust. And DO NOT forget a bandana or buy it at the tour reception. They’re only 3 Euros and you WILL need them. Plus you look pretty cool too, lol!

Did the jeep safari and had a wonderful day. There were 8 jeeps out and think we got lucky with our guide. He was up for a laugh and spoke with all of us. May not have had much local knowledge but told good funny stories to make up for it. Great stops for photo opportunities and the camel ride was fun. Was great to do something different away from the resort and see more of the island away from the tourist spots. Would easily recommend this trip.
Henri –
I think this tour is a must. You get to see places of Gran Canaria that you wouldn’t normally reach because of steep mountain roads. The ride was sometimes rough but, this also depends on the driver. The other jeeps were driven by younger drivers who were driving a bit rougher. Seen a lot and certainly very satisfied.

Picked up exactly when they said 8:45, if you don’t like a bumpy ride then don’t book a safari! Great views and the tour guide was Good! Great day in all!!
Maria –
Really great tour!!!! The backside of the jeep is a bit uncomfortable, the atmosphere is great, people fantastic, highly interesting. It was good fun!!!
Vigo –
It was just great to makethis experience. I can only recommend this, if you want to have fun and want to see something of the island.
Ronny –
A great way to get to know the country and its people. The jeep tour you should definitely do – a wonderful experience for young and old.
Bert –
The route is very dusty, hilly and winding. But that’s exactly what a Jeep Tour is about. If you do not like that, you should better stay home. We can only recommend this tour. A must for those who want live an experience.
