Description
Grand Canyon Mountain Bike Tour Gran Canaria
The still wild and unspoilt inland is only a few wheel turns away from the tourist bustle. This Grand Canyon mountain bike tour begins shortly after Maspalomas and leads you through the gorge Barranco de Fataga up to the Eagle Pass. On a gravel road you drive slightly uphill into the imposing Grand Canyon like mountains. Two long and steep climbs await you on loose ground, past abandoned fincas and orange groves. After a stopover with fantastic views of the mountains and the sea, it will get serious again. Your last reserves are required – because the final ascent starts. Once you have arrived at Eagle Pass you will be rewarded with a great downhill run with a view to the Ayagaures Reservoir. Gran Canarias imposing mountains and the pleasant climate of the island of eternal spring offer ideal conditions for mountain biking, under these circumstances fun is simply pre-programmed.

The bikes are pretty much brand new every season. The routes are well thought out and tough going. I can’t complain about anything.

Highly recommended!! We had a great experience! Thrilling! You should only drive the route if you ride bicycles a lot and have already experience with a mountain bike. The guides are extremely friendly, customer-oriented and also give an insight into the unique flora of the impressive mountains. For all who are looking for a challenge, a big thumbs up!!

Thank you for the great tour! Everything was well organized. There is enough water for the tour and the sandwich was tasty. The tour is a real MTB experience and it does not hurt if you have some experience. Do not forget sunscreen!

The mountain bikes are really well taken care of – the tours extremely cool in the middle of the mountains! Great, booked throughout the whole week and was happy and 3kg lighter afterwards 😉

The organization (shuttle to interesting starting points, catering = sandwiches) was very professional. We were mixed groups with bikers from all sides of Europe the tour was English spoken. Our guides were great, helpful, motivating and always in a good mood.
