Hiking Gran Canaria Falcon Valley

The name Falcon Valley does not sound really spectacular at first. But Gran Canaria experts already know that this is a very special spot in the remote north-east of the island, as a small stream is flowing down this valley all year long.
Through the water richness you will find here almost jungle-like vegetation, as nowhere else on the island. Enjoy the lush nature while your hiking tour through the Barranco de los Cernícalos, as the Falcon Valley will be called in Spanish.
The tour ends with a visit to the picturesque village Agüimes. Here you get some free time to visit the historical town center and to see its emblematic parish church of San Sebastian. The building is a beautiful example of the canary neoclassic architecture and a declared National Artistic Monument.

The hike is highly recommendable. The guides are super nice and have an answer to every question. You feel comfortable from second one and that remains like this over the entire trip. You learn a lot about Gran Canaria plants, animals, people, culture and history. Simply Top👍🏻👍🏻

It was totally great and can only recommend it. Super nice guides, everything was well explained. Our daughter also liked it very much. We would do it again and again.

I am thrilled. Complete all-round service: pick-up at the hotel, drive to the Falcon Valley, hike in two small groups of 12 - 14 people, supply of water, rolls and - if desired - hiking poles and rental hiking boots. Friendly atmosphere, nice conversations - and many good explanations about nature and more.
