Hiking Falcon Valley Gran Canaria
Hiking in the Falcon Valley may not sound particularly exciting at first. However, Gran Canaria connoisseurs already know that this is an absolutely spectacular natural gem. A small stream flows down the valley all year round and as a result, you will find jungle-like vegetation. There is no other place like it elsewhere on the island where such a unique landscape can be found.. Your local guide will be happy to share many interesting details about this special part of Gran Canaria. Another highlight certainly are the buzzards and kestrels, which give the gorge its name. You can enjoy the beautiful views during the al fresco picnic. Afterwards, you will visit the charming village of Agüimes and discover its historic center. The emblematic parish church of San Sebastián, a declared national monument, is a fine example of the neoclassical architecture of the Canaries. This is how this impressive hike in the Falcon Valley of Gran Canaria comes to an end.

I am thrilled. Complete all-round service: pick-up at the hotel, drive to the Falcon Valley, hike in two small groups of 12 – 14 people, supply of water, rolls and – if desired – hiking poles and rental hiking boots. Friendly atmosphere, nice conversations – and many good explanations about nature and more.

It was wonderful!! We were picked up from the hotel on time. Sophie accompanied us and she was really great! Enthusiastic and very knowledgeable! She knows every plant and answers to every question. The gorge was beautiful, very green with many small waterfalls! You have to do this walk with a guide. Otherwise you may get lost and you won’t really get to understand the gorge (flora, fauna, volcanism, …).

The ravine was fantastic, very green and has many small waterfalls! The tour must must be made with Guide. Otherwise you will get lost and you won’t really “understand” the gorge (it’s flora, fauna, volcanism, …). In the end we visited a Cave-Village where we drunk coffee in a cave bar!
