Horse riding in the nature in Gran Canaria – an overwhelming experience. No matter whether you are an experienced rider or have never sat on a horse, there are suitable horses for every rider and every age. Riding on the beach in Gran Canaria has been forbidden some years ago. However, this guided tour through the impressive volcanic mountain landscape of the canary island is in no way inferior to this experience. Discover tropical plants, cactus fields with fantastic views over Playa del Ingles, the famous dunes of Maspalomas and the sea. The riding stable attaches great attention to the loving treatment of the four-legged staff. The horses like Luna, Copito, Millow and their colleagues enjoy great health and are in perfect physical condition. Also the guests are in the best hands with the certified horse farmer, who has an internationally recognized riding instructor qualification and over 15 years of experience as a trail riding guide. For horseback riding you will be picked up and also dropped off again afterwards in Maspalomas, Playa del Ingles, Puerto de Mogán or Puerto Rico and many other holiday locations in the south of Gran Canaria, if required.

Lovely morning ride! They matched the horses perfectly with the riders. They also split the group in who can and who can’t ride based on experience. The road can be rocky but the horses know every little stone and step perfectly fine over it. The horses are well taken care off! You walk a lot but with experience you can have a little trot and gallop. I don’t mind just walking the view was amazing! The guides were very nice and gave us some information about the horses. Also we had a good laugh with the guy that picked us up from the hotel and brought us back. Thank you all

My 9-year-old son and me had a wonderful time on a 2-hour horseback ride- we had never done it but the animals were so calm and sweet that we never felt in any danger, although the terrain wasn’t an easy one at all – up and down some small paths in the lava-mountains, sometimes between some lovely ensembles of cacti- memorable for sure. Our Guides weren’t only very nice people but also took great care of their animals, some of them rescued from previous (bad) owners. 5 we’ll deserved stars for sure!!!

The view was breathtaking, and as a horse lover, I found it particularly nice that we were allowed to care for the horses a little even after the ride. You can tell that the horses are in very good hands and that they lovingly look after them at the stable. They looked very calm, friendly and balanced. In addition, it was a highlight that they allowed experienced riders to gallop in several places. A nice resting area with the possibility to drinks & snacks was also available at the stable. All together contributed to an extraordinary riding experience, which I can totally recommend.

I booked this trip due to the good reviews. That was a mistake. It was a very stressful and frustrating trip for us. We are beginners and were panicking on the horses. My husband’s horse threw itself on the ground and rolled over. My horse got constantly bitten by the other horses and wanted to run away in panic. I had to call for help. The horses were not allowed to close because they did not like each other. My husband was almost thrown down by the horse because he got the “bad boy”. The ground was a disaster, narrow, rocky paths full of rocks and stones. The horses were slipping on the gravel. One got a huge stone in its hooves and limped. For humans and animals a catastrophe. We were exhausted and are afraid to ride for all eternity. Pity about the money. The absolute horror trip!!

The staff was very friendly and helpful, we felt well cared for from the beginning. After a short briefing, we went through the mountains on relatively stony paths. The horses are very well trained and used to cross this ground. We both never sat on a horse before, it was a great experience!

It was a really great experience! I would do it again immediately. There a lot of horses in the stable. The staff knows how to handle riding beginners. We had a problem at the beginning, which delayed the start of the tour by one hour. Still, the two hours we paid for were maintained. I think that’s great. Continue like this.

Personally, I would have liked to have the opportunity to build a relationship with my horse before the ride. You basically arrived there and sat right on the horse. The allocation of the horses was very good though. Transfer worked well. Recommended!

We came here for a treat for my 25th birthday and had a lovely time. The girls were super friendly and chatty and were a pleasure to be with and the horses are well looked after. My boyfriend had a little trouble with his horse to begin with as we were both beginners but after a bit of guidance from staff we were well on the way. The trip does cater for all abilities, those new to horse riding remain at a steady walk whilst at points those with more experience are able to go ahead and go at a faster pace. It looked great fun for them, I only wish we had more experience so we were able to join!

We had a wonderful time, staff was great and knowledge, the horses were wonderful; we had a young friend with us who had never ever met a horse (we were concerned he would be afraid) he was matched with the perfect pony, even had a little trot at the end of the ride. My husband has minimal riding experience, he’s a big man and has only ridden Western, the staff did a great job making him comfortable. I had a great time and enjoyed a few gallops.
I appreciated the fact that all the horses were shod, looked in good body condition dispute the hot and humid climate, and every horse in the barn we petted was in a clean stall and had clean water and hay.
