Wandelen Laurierbos Los Tilos de Moya Gran Canaria
On this tour you will be hiking in the laurel forest of Gran Canaria in the nature reserve “Los Tilos de Moya”. The last remnant of a subtropical jungle that once covered much of the north of the island is part of the Doramas Natural Park. After a climb through a densely covered ravine, you will pass through fabulous landscapes with breathtaking scenery, up to the “Sphinx”. From here, you can admire and enjoy the view onto the endemic plant world of Gran Canaria during your lunch break, a true jewel for nature lovers. Finally, you’ll start with the descent after the picnic. Through a deep and lush gorge with giant eucalyptus trees along lemon and orange plantations you’re going back to the starting point. Hiking in the laurel forest of Gran Canaria is truly unforgettable and unique!

Forest, mountains, cliffs, sun, shade, … all that makes hiking fun with lots of variety! The guide knows a great deal about fauna and flora and stops regularly to explain the herbs or let us try and smell them….
